The Bootcamp team are out of the office

The Bootcamp team is taking a bit of break this summer. We've made the tough decision to place the majority of the staff team on furlough in June and July.

From now until August, the majority of the Campaign Bootcamp staff team will be out of the office, on furlough.

The spread of COVID-19 in the UK has meant that we’ve had to put in-person training on pause. We don’t anticipate being able to run any in-person training for the rest of the year. Although our funders have been incredibly supportive, we decided that this was the best decision to take to protect the future of our organisation.

Earlier this year we surveyed the Bootcamp community asking what they would like to see us doing to support graduates and their communities during COVID-19. We got so many useful and humbling responses, and started to respond to them by setting up online community events and planning online training. This work has not been cancelled – but it will be delayed.

There will be a few staff working on the online training project throughout June and July – so when most of us are back, we should be ready to open applications. If you are eager to power up your campaigns, make sure you join our waiting list for that training by clicking here.

If you have any urgent questions, please contact [email protected] or give us a ring on 020 3868 6376. Not all staff are going on furlough, so there will be someone to respond to you. However, as the majority of staff will be out of the office, you might have to wait a few days before you hear a response.

In the meantime, do stay connected with us by following us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. If you’re a graduate of one of our programmes, you can also join our Facebook Community Group.

We’ll miss you – and we can’t wait to get back in touch.

‘Til then, stay safe, and power to your campaigns!
Sophie and the rest of the Campaign Bootcamp community
