Reasons to apply to Bootcamp early

We’re calling on budding campaigners and activists to not delay, and apply today!

As Mark Twain once said, “If it’s your job to eat a frog, it’s best to do it first thing in the morning”. The frog is that one task that you have on your to-do list that you’re most likely to procrastinate on. Get that task done first thing, and the rest of your day will be an easy ride as well as getting that lovely, warm sense of accomplishment.

We understand that applying for Bootcamp maybe your frog, but we’re going to share with you 3 great reasons why you should get your application in early…

  1. In the words of Luther Vandross, ‘it’s never too much, never too much’
Sometimes we receive applications that are just a bit too short and don’t give us enough details to make a good assessment of the person applying. This isn’t to say you’re not right for Bootcamp, so we get in touch with folks who have submitted short applications and ask them to re-submit if possible. Getting your application in early allows us time to give you that feedback and support if your application is too short.
  2. We want you to be successful
We want everyone to be confident in submitting their application, and sometimes you might require a bit of support with the application questions – maybe you have some access requirements which are making the application challenging, or maybe bigging yourself up isn’t your strong suit! We don’t want there to be any barriers for anyone applying to Bootcamp, so the sooner we know how we can help you, the better chance there is of us being able to provide the support you require. This goes for the interview stage too!
  3. New Year, New You
Struggling to keep those New Year’s resolutions? Make applying for Bootcamp one of your 2020 goals! Think about it, what better way to start off the year by applying to join a community of like-minded people who want to change the world for the better?

To sum up, we love receiving your applications nice and early at Bootcamp. It helps us support you in every way that we can, and allows your application to show your best self.
